Phoebe Lucille Bridgers, an American singer-songwriter, record producer, and actor, was born on August 17, 1994. Her melancholy-themed indie folk songs frequently use an acoustic guitar, electronic production, and electronic production. Four Grammy nominations have been made for her, including Best New Artist.
Bridgers was a member of Sloppy Jane and a performer in her teens. She was born in Pasadena, California. Both of her solo albums, Punisher (2020) and Stranger in the Alps (2017), were well-received by critics. Additionally, she is a part of the supergroup Boygenius, with whom she co-wrote and co-released an EP with the same name, and Better Oblivion Community Center, with whom she co-wrote and co-released an album with the same name.
As a “serial collaborator,” Bridgers has collaborated on songs with a variety of artists, including Lord Huron, Fiona Apple, Matt Berninger and the National, Manchester Orchestra, the 1975, Maggie Rogers, Kid Cudi, Taylor Swift, and SZA. Additionally, she has collaborated on full-length projects with Lucy Dacus, Julien Baker, and Conor Oberst.
