American rock group Paramore was founded in 2004 and is based in Franklin, Tennessee. Hayley Williams, the main vocalist, Taylor York, and Zac Farro, the drummer, make up the band at the moment. Williams and Farro joined the organization as founding members, while York, a former classmate, joined in 2007. Fueled by Ramen, a division of Atlantic Records that is also owned by Warner Music Group, the band is under contract. Williams was scouted when she was a teenager and signed independently to Atlantic since they were the only record company that would allow her to remain in the band rather than go solo. However, Atlantic insisted that the rest of the band sign to Fueled by Ramen. The group’s fourth self-titled album was released in 2013 after Josh and Zac Farro left the group in 2010. It was also the number-one album in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico. It featured the singles “Still Into You” and “Ain’t It Fun,” with the latter earning Williams and York as songwriters their first Grammy Award for Best Rock Song. The band’s lineup changed once more after this album cycle, with bassist Jeremie Smith joining.
