Five-piece indie rock group Mt. Joy is from Philadelphia and is located in Los Angeles. Members include Michael Byrnes (keyboards), Sotiris Eliopoulos (drums), Sam Cooper (guitar), Matt Quinn (vocals, guitar), and Jackie Miclau (guitar) (bass). Quinn, Cooper, and Byrnes’ Los Angeles-recorded track “Astrovan,” the group’s first release, was released in 2016. The trio of singles “Sheep,” “Cardinal,” and “Silver Lining” were released in 2017, and “Silver Lining” finally peaked at the top of the Billboard Triple A charts. On March 2, 2018, they put out their first studio album by the same name. Over the course of the following two years, Mt. Joy played festivals, supported other artists on tour, and headlined North American and European dates. Mt. Joy’s second studio album, Rearrange Us, was released on June 5, 2020[5] after a tour with The Lumineers was canceled due to COVID-19. Their third studio album, Orange Blood, was released on June 17, 2022.
