DeMario DeWayne White Jr. (born September 22, 1991), better known by his stage name Moneybagg Yo, is an American rapper best known for his fusion of trap, drill, and Southern hip-hop music. He has attracted attention for his lyrics, which are distinguished by their sharpness, a delivery that is frequently referred to as mellow, and themes that delve into introspection. He is regarded as one of the leading voices in contemporary hip-hop.
Born DeMario DeWayne White Jr. on September 3, 1991, he is a rapper from Memphis who is signed to Collective Music Group, a record company created by Yo Gotti in collaboration with Interscope Records. The critically acclaimed albums and mixtapes that Moneybagg Yo has released throughout the course of his career include Federal 3X (2017) and 2 Heartless (2018), both of which debuted in the top 20 of the Billboard 200 chart at Nos. 5 and 16, respectively.
