Illenium (stylized as ILLENIUM) is the stage name of Nicholas Daniel Miller, an American DJ, record producer, and songwriter (born December 26, 1990). He has released four studio albums, with Falling Embers, his most recent, arriving in July 2021. Illenium received his first Grammy nomination as a result. Ascend, one of Illenium’s more well-known albums was published through Astralwerks in August 2019. Illenium’s debut album peaked at number one on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums list and at number 14 on the Billboard 200.
In 2019, two of Illenium’s singles, “Good Things Come Apart” with Jon Bellion and “Takeaway” with the Chainsmokers, reached number three on the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart (featuring Lennon Stella). Illenium has also contributed to a number of noteworthy remixes, such as those for Flume’s “Say It” and the Chainsmokers’ “Don’t Let Me Down,” the latter of which earned the “Remix of the Year” prize at the first Electronic Music Awards in 2017. In 2020, he was listed among the 30 Under 30 in music by Forbes.
