French DJ, record producer, and actor Cédric DePasquale, better known by his stage name Cedric Gervais, was born on June 7, 1979, and currently resides in Miami Beach, Florida. He created a remix of Lana Del Rey’s “Summertime Sadness” in 2013, for which he received a Grammy.
Gervais has made several film appearances. He made an appearance in the Michael Bay-directed film Pain & Gain in 2013, which also included the songs “Molly” and “Ready or Not” by Gervais. In the drama-historical films Deepwater Horizon and Patriots Day, both starring Mark Wahlberg, Cedric also had an appearance as an actor. In the first film, he shared a role alongside his friend and business partner David Grutman. He most recently portrayed Greg Vickers in Peter Berg’s Mile 22 in 2018.
