Barbara Ann Corcoran (born March 10, 1949) is a businesswoman, investor, syndicated columnist, and television personality from the United States. She formed The Corcoran Group, a New York City real estate agency, which she sold to NRT for $66 million in 2001 and departed shortly after. Corcoran, one of the show’s original “Shark” investors, has been in all 14 seasons of ABC’s Shark Tank. She has made 130 transactions on the program as of January 2023, the greatest of which was a $350,000 investment for 40% of Coverplay.
Corcoran writes a weekly column in the New York Daily News, writes a column for More, The Daily Review, and Redbook, and has published many books. She has been on Larry King Live and NBC’s Today, and she co-hosts The Millionaire Broker on CNBC with Barbara Corcoran.
