Adam Mitchel Lambert is an American singer and songwriter who was born on January 29, 1982. He has sold more than 3 million albums and 5 million singles globally since 2009. Theatrical training and both contemporary and traditional genres are combined in Lambert’s powerful vocal performances.
After placing second on the eighth season of American Idol, Lambert gained recognition in 2009. His debut album, For Your Entertainment, was released later that year and debuted at number three on the U.S. charts. 200 on Billboard. The album yielded several songs, including “Whataya Want from Me”, for which he received a Grammy nomination for “Best Male Pop Vocal Performance”.
Trespassing, Lambert’s second studio album, was released in 2012. The album debuted at the top of the American charts. He was the first openly gay artist to top the album charts, according to the Billboard 200.
