Artist Julius Dubose, also known as A Boogie wit da Hoodie (or just A Boogie), is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter who was born on December 6, 1995. He has contracts with both his own label imprint, Highbridge the Label, and Atlantic Records. His stage name is a play on the term “Ace Boogie” from the 2002 movie Paid in Full. Friends dubbed him “A Boogie wit da Hoodie” since he constantly wore hoodies.
His top three hits on the Billboard Hot 100 charts are “Numbers,” which debuted at number 23, “Look Back at It,” and “Drowning” (number 38). The Bigger Artist (2017), his first studio album, arrived at number four on the Billboard 200 chart. Hoodie SZN (2018), his second studio album, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 after its release. Artist 2.0 (2020), his third studio album, arrived at number two on the Billboard 200. On December 9, 2022, he released Me vs. Myself, his fourth studio album.
