Anthony Ryan Leslie (born September 25, 1978) is a Washington, D.C.-based American singer, songwriter, record producer, and entrepreneur. He has produced singles for a number of well-known musicians in genres such as R&B, hip hop, pop, and gospel. Britney Spears, Beyoncé, Puff Daddy, LL Cool J, Kid Cudi, Kanye West, Usher, Mary J. Blige, Chris Brown, and Fabolous are among the artists with whom Leslie has collaborated.
Cassie, who signed to Leslie’s NextSelection label brand in a joint venture with Bad Boy Records, had his biggest commercial success to date from 2005 to 2006. Leslie created and produced “Me & U,” her initial Platinum-certified smash single, as well as the rest of her eponymous debut album. (2006). Leslie’s 2008 self-titled debut album, was a minor hit that contained the songs “Diamond Girl”, “Addiction” (with Fabolous and Cassie), and “How It Was Supposed to Be”.
