The popularity of their privately released album The Arcade, which included elements of electronic music, hip hop, and pop, helped the group sign a contract with Universal Motown in the early part of 2008. Placements in well-known MTV reality series have increased, and the band has continued to acquire fame by supporting Lady Gaga on tour and collaborating with musicians like Diplo. The band also had success with the tune “Kick Us Out,” which reached its peak at number 6 on the Billboard Dance/Club Play Chart.
