Founded in 2014, Banx & Ranx is a Grammy-nominated music production team from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Producers, songwriters, and remixers, Soké (real name Zacharie Raymond) and KNY Factory (actual name Yannick Rastogi) are members of the group. With the partnership of their independently owned label 31 East, they are currently signed to Universal Music Canada. The pair is best known for their hit songs “Answerphone,” which peaked at number five on the UK Singles Chart on May 25, 2018, and “Flowers Need Rain,” which they co-wrote with Preston Pablo and reached the Top 10 in Canada.
For the Scorcha album by Sean Paul, they received a Grammy nomination. For the 2023 Juno Awards, they were nominated for three awards: Breakthrough Group of the Year, Single of the Year for “Flowers Need Rain,” and Jack Richardson Producer of the Year for “Ctrl + Alt + Del” by Rêve and “Dynamite” by Sean Paul.
