A Canadian singer-songwriter from Timmins, Ontario, Preston Pablo is 21 years old. Most notably, he was a three-time nominee for a Juno Award at the 2023 Juno Awards, with nods for Breakthrough Artist of the Year, Single of the Year for “Flowers Need Rain,” and Fan Choice Award.
At the age of 13, he began studying the drums before moving on to the guitar.
With the tune “OMO,” he made his solo musical debut while still in high school. Preston was found by Montreal-based producers Banx & Ranx on social media and then signed with 31 East under Universal Music Canada. He released “Don’t Break (My Soul),” his debut single, through Universal Music Canada in January 2022.
He released the single “Flowers Need Rain” in September 2022. He followed that up with the release of “Love You Bad” in October 2022, a platinum-selling song that peaked at number five on Canadian Top 40 radio and in the top ten on Hot AC and Mainstream AC.
