Born on February 18, 1983, Vassy Karagiorgos is an Australian singer, songwriter, and record producer who goes by the moniker Vassy. Vassy worked on 2014 single “Bad” by David Guetta and Showtek, which went 7 times double platinum and helped to launch her career in the field of electronic dance music. She worked on the song “Secrets” by Tisto and KSHMR in 2015, which topped the Beatport and Billboard Club charts and debuted at No. 1 in 20 different nations.
Tisto co-produced her 2016 single “Nothing to Lose,” which was made available through Musical Freedom Records. During one of her visits to Amsterdam that year, she received a call from Afrojack asking her to meet at his studio. Vassy and Afrojack ultimately played and worked on several ideas, with “Lost” the result of their cooperation. One year later, in 2017, the song was formally released by Armada Music alongside Oliver Rosa. Vassy achieved his fourth Billboard No. 1 song with “Lost,” which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart in May 2018.
