Rapper Finesse2tymes, real name Ricky Hampton, was born in Memphis, Tennessee on June 10, 1992. He is now signed to Atlantic Records. He is renowned for his “thunderous voice” and songs that contain inspirational messages. On December 2, 2022, his major label mixtape debut, 90 Days, was published. At the age of 21, Hampton founded the rap group Memphis Greatest Underrated with Moneybagg Yo, Blac Youngsta, and other rappers from Memphis. In 2019, the group issued a self-titled EP.
His mixtape Hustle & Flow, which was released in 2019, helped him achieve popularity. Additionally, Finesse2tymes and Moneybagg Yo had a falling out. Both artists’ conflict was resolved in September 2022, and Finesse2tymes was signed to Moneybagg Yo’s label Bread Gang. With the latter, he also made his single “Black Visa” available. In a partnership with Atlantic Records, he signed to J. Prince Jr.’s record label Mob Ties in October 2022. Additionally in October 2022, he and American rapper Gucci Mane released their track “Gucci Flow.” His song “Back End” became popular on the social media app TikTok. His mixtape 90 Days, featuring rappers Gucci Mane, Moneybagg Yo, Lil Baby, and producer Tay Keith, was released in December 2022.
