Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers started the British indie rock group Wet Leg in 2019. They are from the Isle of Wight. In 2021, they made their debut with the song “Chaise Longue.” In 2022, their self-titled debut album debuted at the top of the UK Albums Chart, the Irish Albums Chart, and the ARIA Albums Chart in Australia. The album made the Mercury Prize 2022 shortlist. Wet Leg won Best Alternative Music Album for their debut and Best Alternative Music Performance for “Chaise Longue” at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards. They were also nominated for Best New Artist.
