Martina “Tini” Stoessel, an Argentine singer, composer, actress, dancer, and model, was born on March 21, 1997. She began her career by participating in the Argentine children’s television series Patito Feo (2007). She gained notoriety as a young adult for playing the title character Violetta Castillo in the Disney Channel Latin America original telenovela Violetta (2012–2015), and she returned to the role in the series’ follow-up movie Tini: The Movie (2016).
In addition to being nominated for awards such as the Heat Latin Music Awards, Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards, Latin American Music Awards, and Urban Music Awards, Stoessel has won three Gardel Awards, seven Quiero Awards, one Argentina Kids’ Choice Award, one Colombia Kids’ Choice Award, three Bravo Otto Awards, two Martin Fierro Awards, one Los 40 Music Award, three MTV Millennial Awards, and two MTV Europe Music Awards. The “Princess of Latin Pop” is another name for her. She was listed as one of the 25 Most Influential Women in World Television in 2016 by The Hollywood Reporter. Stoessel was recognized as the top Argentine artist on Spotify from 2017 to 2021 and the “Artist of The Year” for Argentina on Billboard.
