The electronic pop tunes that TELYKast creates are euphoric and nostalgic, fitting for both the radio and the main stage of a summer EDM festival. The Los Angeles-based trio performs in an unusual lineup that includes a DJ, a guitarist, and a vocalist. They write and record their music in their respective home studios. TELYKast has been actively releasing singles and remixes since 2016. They have worked with Kaskade, Steve Void, Natalie Major, and many more. Songs like “Comfortable” (2018) and “Daylight” have amassed millions of streams (2019). TELYKast, which was founded in 2012, is made up of jazz guitarist Linus Altman-Kurosaki, DJ/producer Kyle Tonoli, and former metal guitarist Trevor Klaiman. They began releasing remixes and original music in 2015, fusing EDM with pop hooks. In 2016, a number of songs were released, such as “Break Your Heart” (with Lauryn Vyce) and remixes for the Chainsmokers and Tritonal. 2017 saw the release of collaborations with Ian Gott (“Stay Friends”) and Sammy Adams (“Driven”), while 2018 single “Comfortable” (with Natalie Major and Steve Void) turned out to be one of TELYKast’s most well-liked songs, receiving dozens of remixes. The group’s top three singles from 2019 were “Daylight,” “Better,” and “No One Other,” which were all collaborations with Kaskade (with One True God).
