Durrell Artaze Babbs, best known by his stage name Tank, is an American R&B singer, songwriter, producer, and actor. He was born on January 1, 1976. The hits “Maybe I Deserve” (2001), “Please Don’t Go” (2007), and “When We” are what made him famous (2017). As of 2013, 1.76 million albums by Tank were sold in the United States, according to Billboard.
As a part of the production duo the Underdogs and with his own group, Song Dynasty, Tank has written songs and produced music for artists such as Aaliyah, Beyoncé, Dave Hollister, Fantasia Barrino, Kelly Rowland, Marques Houston, Omarion, Jamie Foxx, Pitbull, Donell Jones, and Monica.
