Sleeping with Sirens is an American rock band from Orlando, Florida that now calls Grand Rapids, Michigan home. Kellin Quinn (lead vocals, keyboards), Tony Pizzuti (tour lead guitarist), Nick Martin (rhythm guitar, supporting vocals), Justin Hills (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Matty Best make up the current lineup. (drums, percussion). Members of For All We Know and Paddock Park created the band in 2009. The band is now signed to Sumerian Records and has six full-length albums and one acoustic EP to their credit.
The band rose to prominence with their song “If I’m James Dean, You’re Audrey Hepburn,” which was released as the first single off their debut album, With Ears to See and Eyes to Hear, in 2010. Let’s Cheers to This, their second album, was released in 2011 and proved a breakout for the band, owing to the popular track “If You Can’t Hang,” which was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on July 18, 2018, for selling 500,000 copies in the United States.
The group’s third album, Feel, debuted at No. 3 on the US Billboard 200, and a fourth album, entitled Madness, was released on March 17, 2015, through Epitaph Records and featured the single “Kick Me”. Gossip, their fifth studio album, was released on September 22, 2017, by Warner Bros. Records. How It Feels to Be Lost, their sixth studio album was released on September 6, 2019, through Sumerian Records. The band is well recognized for the variety of vocalist Kellin Quinn’s leggero tenor vocal range, as well as the powerful sound employed in their early work and the pop influences used later in their career.
