The Scratch Perverts are a London-based turntablist DJ group founded in 1996 by Tony Vegas, Prime Cuts, and DJ Renegade. In 1999 and 2001, they won the World DMC team championship. Prime Cuts also won two ITF World Scratching titles in a row, first defeating A-Trak in Hawaii in 1999 and then defending the title in Los Angeles the following year. Plus One won the Vestax fight in 2000 and the World DMC championship in 2001. Their technical contributions include Jimi Hendrix-inspired ‘feedback’ technique.
