Russell James Vitale, commonly known as Russ, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter who was born on September 26, 1992. Russ released his eleventh studio album, There’s Really a Wolf, with Columbia Records in May 2017 after years of distributing albums, mixtapes, and songs for free online; it was certified Platinum in April 2018. His first hit singles from the album were “What They Want,” “Losin Control,” and “Best on Earth” (with Bia), which peaked at 83, 63, and 46 on the US Billboard Hot 100, respectively. Zoo, his thirteenth album, was released on September 7, 2018, and reached at number four on the Billboard 200 in the United States. Shake the Snow Globe, his fourteenth studio album, was released on January 31, 2020, and peaked at number four on the US Billboard 200. In addition to his solo work, he is a member of Diemon, an Atlanta-based music collective.
