Spanish rapper and musician Pedro Luis Dominguez Quevedo, better known by his stage name Quevedo, was born on December 7, 2001. After the release of “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 52″ in 2022, he became well-known. In just two years, Quevedo has led six additional singles to the top 10, and four of his singles—”Cayó la Noche,” “Quevedo: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 52,” “Apa,” and his final “Playa del Inglés”—to the top spot in Spain.
Madrid was the birthplace of Pedro Luis Dominguez Quevedo. He relocated to Brazil when he was a year old, then came back to Spain at age five and settled in Las Palmas, in the Canary Islands. In 2020, Quevedo and music producer Linton established their respective musical careers after dabbling in freestyle rap. In Spotify’s World Viral 50 list and Spain Viral 50 chart, his song “Ahora y Siempre” (2021) peaked at positions 19 and 2, respectively.
He worked on the remix of “Cayó la Noche” in 2022 with Canarian artists Cruz Cafuné and Bejo. Additional collaborations include “2step” with Ed Sheeran, “Fernet” with Rei, and “Si Quieren Frontear” with Duki and De La Ghetto. He collaborated with Argentine producer Bizarrap to record his breakthrough single “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 52” in July 2022. Within the first twenty-four hours of its release, the song received over 10 million views. The record made history by becoming the first track by either an Argentine or a Spanish artist to top Spotify’s Global Top 200 chart.
