Michael David Rosenberg (born 17 May 1984) is an English singer-songwriter and musician better known by his stage name Passenger. Rosenberg, who was previously the main vocalist and composer for Passenger, chose to use the band’s moniker for his solo work when the band disbanded in 2009. He debuted the smash song “Let Her Go” in 2012, which topped the charts in 16 countries and has had over 3.3 billion views on YouTube; it is the most-viewed Australian YouTube video of all time. The song was nominated for a Brit Award for British Single of the Year in 2014, and he got the Ivor Novello Award for Most Performed Work from the British Academy.
