LoCash (stylized as LOCASH) is an American country music duet comprised of vocalists Chris Lucas and Preston Brust. They’ve released three studio albums, one for Average Joes Entertainment, one for Reviver Records, and one for Wheelhouse Records. The duo’s tracks have charted three times on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and thirteen times on the Country Airplay chart. “I Know Someone,” their highest-charting hit, topped the Billboard Country Airplay chart in 2016. LoCash members co-wrote Keith Urban’s number-one single “You Going Fly” and Tim McGraw’s “Truck Yeah” in addition to their own compositions.
By 2015, the duo had released “Cowboys” and a new single as LoCash, “I Love This Life,” through Reviver Records. In late 2015, it became their first Top 5 hit. The second song from the EP album, “I Know Somebody,” was released to country radio on February 22, 2016. In October 2016, it debuted at number one on the Billboard charts. In 2017, the duo received a nomination for the Academy of Country Music’s New Duo or Group Award. The Fighters’ third single, “Ring on Every Finger,” was released in December 2016. The song was written by Thomas Rhett and was supposed to be included in his second album, Tangled Up.
LoCash got a record deal with Broken Bow Records’ Wheelhouse Records brand in August 2018. “Feels Like a Party,” which the trio co-wrote with Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line, is their first single for the label. Brothers, the corresponding album by Wheelhouse, was released in March 2019.
