Jackson Dean Nicholson is an American country music singer and songwriter who was born on October 6, 2000. In 2021, he signed with Big Machine Records, and his single “Don’t Come Lookin’” reached the charts.
At Maryland’s Odenton, Dean was born. At the age of 18, he moved away from his hometown to start writing songs, which led to collaborations with Casey Beathard and Luke Dick. He got signed to Big Machine Records in 2021 after opening up for Kane Brown, Jake Owen, and Brothers Osborne. The self-titled extended play and the single “Wings” were Dean’s debut releases for Big Machine. The former was made available on April 16, 2021.
Dean’s debut album Greenbroke was published on March 11, 2022, while his debut song “Don’t Come Lookin’” was released in February 2022. He was also scheduled to open for Brooks & Dunn on their Reboot 2022 Tour. In 2022, “Don’t Come Lookin’” appeared on the Country Airplay chart. A Yellowstone episode from the Paramount Network utilized the song as well.
