Hollywood Undead is a Los Angeles, California-based rap rock band that formed in 2005. All of the members of the band have pseudonyms and originally wore their own unique masks, the majority of which were based on the ubiquitous hockey goaltender design. J-Dog, Funny Man, Johnny 3 Tears, Charlie Scene, and Danny are the current members of the band. Swan Songs, their debut album, was published on September 2, 2008, and Desperate Measures, their live CD/DVD, was released on November 10, 2009. American Tragedy, their second studio album, was released on April 5, 2011. Notes from the Underground, their third studio album, was released on January 8, 2013.
Day of the Dead, their fourth studio album, was released on March 31, 2015. Five (or V), Hollywood Undead’s fifth album, was released on October 27, 2017. The album’s first single, “California Dreaming,” was released on July 24, 2017. New Empire, Vol. 6 is their sixth studio album. New Empire, Vol. 1, was released on February 14, 2020. Its sequel, New Empire, Vol. Hotel Kalifornia, their most recent album, was released on August 12, 2022.
