High Valley is a Canadian country music band from Blumenort, Alberta, a small town near La Crete. Brad Rempel (lead vocals) and his backing band consisting of Dave Myers (bass guitar), Sam Bergeson (vocals), Raymond Klassen (Dobro), Clint Milburn (guitar), and Andrew Hemmerling (drums). Bryan Rempel, Brad Rempel’s brother, was a member until March 2014, and Curtis Rempel, Brad Rempel’s younger brother, was a member until June 2021. All three were raised in a Mennonite environment and attended La Crete Public School.
High Valley was signed to Atlantic Records Nashville in October 2015 after a string of chart victories in Canada between 2010 and 2015. Shortly later, the single “Make You Mine” was released to country radio in the United States. It debuted at No. 56 on the Billboard Country chart in the United States. With “I Be U Be,” “Grew Up On That,” and “River’s Still Running,” they have three No. 1 hits on the Billboard Canada Country chart.
