American bluegrass group Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, featuring mandolinist Dominick Leslie, banjoist Kyle Tuttle, fiddler Bronwyn Keith-Hynes, and bassist Shelby Means, is fronted by Molly Tuttle.
Born in the United States on January 14, 1993, Molly Tuttle is a vocalist, composer, guitarist, banjoist, recording artist, and teacher in the bluegrass genre who is renowned for mastering the flatpicking, clawhammer, and crosspicking guitar techniques. She has acknowledged Hazel Dickens, Kathy Kallick, and Laurie Lewis as inspirations. The International Bluegrass Music Association’s Guitar Player of the Year award was given to Tuttle for the first time in 2017. In addition to being named Instrumentalist of the Year by the Americana Music Association, she earned the prize once more in 2018.
