Rapper and composer Dorwin Demarcus Dorrough, also known professionally as Dorrough Music (or just Dorrough), was born on October 28, 1986, in the United States. “Walk That Walk,” “Get Huge,” “Ice Cream Paint Job,” and “Beat Up the Block” are a few of his singles. Six mixtapes, including three with Gangsta Grillz, and two studio albums were all produced by him.
At the beginning of his musical career, Dorrough Music distributed mixtapes at basketball games at his high school. “Walk That Walk,” his debut single, peaked at number 28 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and number 12 on the Hot Rap Tracks chart. His second single, “Ice Cream Paint Job,” which peaked at number 27 on the Billboard Hot 100, was also his debut. His debut album, Dorrough Music, was released on E1 Music on August 4, 2009, and it reached its highest position on the Billboard 200 at position #36 as well as positions 6 and 2 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts. A remix was created following the success of the second song, “Ice Cream Paint Job”. The release day for the remix was August 18, 2009.
