Born in Brooklyn, New York on December 12, 1990, Dawin Polanco is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, and record producer better known by his stage name, Dawin. The song “Dessert,” which peaked at number 68 on the Billboard Hot 100, is what made him most famous.

In 2014, Dawin released “Just Girly Things” as his first song. A record deal was eventually signed by him in 2014 after it peaked at number 40 on the American Dance/Electronic Songs list and was featured in a number of Vine clips. His single “Dessert” was released in 2015. It was released in both a solo version and a version with Silentó, and both versions peaked in the top 10 in Australia and New Zealand. In addition, the US certified it as platinum.

His second EP, Sunday, was published in 2016. His debut album, Errors, was released in 2017.
