Dash Berlin is a Dutch electronic music duo founded by Eelke Kalberg and Sebastiaan Molijn in The Hague in 2007. Dash Berlin was named the sixth most popular DJ in the world by DJ Mag in 2012, and Kalberg and Molijn worked as record producers. Kalberg and Molijn left the group in 2019 and rejoined in 2021 after winning a legal battle with Jeffrey Sutorius over the trademark “Dash Berlin.”
Sutorius declared on his Facebook page on March 29, 2021, that he would henceforth play, record, and release music under his own name “Jeffrey Sutorius.” The declaration came after he lost a court battle with the former members of the group, who have been the legal proprietors of the Dash Berlin trademark since March 17, 2021.
