Rapper Chingy, born Howard Earl Bailey Jr. on March 9, 1980, is from the United States. In his late teens, Chingy, who was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, started rapping. In the summer of 2002, he toured as Nelly’s opening act. Afterward, he turned into Ludacris’ protege and was signed to his newly established Disturbing The Peace (DTP) record label. His 2006 album Hoodstar produced the smash singles “Pullin’ Me Back” (with Tyrese Gibson) and “Dem Jeans,” while his second album, Powerballin’, was released in 2004 to mediocre reviews (featuring Jermaine Dupri). Hate It or Love It, his fourth album was released in 2007 through Disturbing the Peace and featured the lead single “Fly Like Me” (featuring Amerie). Success & Failure, a studio album, was released in 2010. He officially made his debut as a music producer in 2018 with the release of his track “Sparks Fly,” which went on sale on July 4.
