Rappers Bizzy Bone, Wish Bone, Layzie Bone, Krayzie Bone, and Flesh-n-Bone make up the hip-hop group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, originally known as B.O.N.E. Enterprises. The group made their debut with their EP Creepin on ah Coming Up in late 1993 after being signed to fellow American rapper Eazy-Ruthless E’s Records. Their debut single, “Thuggish Ruggish Bone,” was featured on the EP. The group issued its second album, E, in 1995. With the songs “1st of tha Month” and “East 1999,” 1999 Eternal was released. The Grammy Award-winning song “Tha Crossroads,” an ode to their mentor Eazy-E who had just passed away at the time, was written by them.
Longtime members Krayzie Bone and Wish Bone formally departed the group in April 2011 to work with their independent label The Life Entertainment as a result of internal issues. Afterward, they came back, formally reuniting the group. Nevertheless, Layzie Bone stated in August 2013 that he was leaving the band to focus more on his solo endeavors. BTNH struck a deal with eOne Entertainment (formerly Koch Records), with whom they had previously collaborated to record 2006’s Thug Tales. This happened in the same month. Later, Layzie Bone joined the group again, and they went on tour in 2018.
