American singer and actress Rebbeca Marie Gomez, better known by her stage name Becky G, was born on March 2, 1997. As she started posting internet videos of herself performing well-known songs, she first became well-known in 2011. Producer Dr. Luke noticed one of her videos and afterward extended to her an offer for a combined record deal with RCA Records and Kemosabe Records. Gomez collaborated with performers Cher Lloyd, Cody Simpson, and will.i.am on her self-titled album. “Becky from the Block,” her official debut song, was well-received when it was released in 2013. Later that year, she published Play It Again, her debut extended play. Pitbull provided guest vocals for her second single and first of 2014, “Can’t Get Enough,” which topped the Latin Rhythm Airplay chart in the US.
Due to her success, she has worked with musicians including Daddy Yankee, Christina Aguilera, and David Guetta.
