Rapper Bas was born Abbas Hamad in the United States on May 27, 1987. He is a J signee. via Interscope Records, Cole’s Dreamville Records. His second studio album, Too High to Riot, was published on March 4, 2016, while his first studio album, Last Winter, was released on April 29, 2014. On August 24, 2018, Bas’ third album, Milky Way, was made available.
Bas was highlighted in J. Cole’s “New York Times” from Born Sinner, featuring 50 Cent, followed by DJ Khaled’s “Hells Kitchen” from Suffering from Success. Later, he made an appearance on the Dreamville mixtape Revenge of the Dreamers. In honor of Dreamville’s collaboration with Interscope Records, which led to Bas’s signing with Interscope, that mixtape was made available. Bas published a free EP titled Two Weeks Notice two weeks ahead of the release of his debut album Last Winter.
With Correy C, Bas released the one-off single “Pinball II” on April 10, 2018. ASAP Ferg appeared on the first track for Bas’ third album, “Boca Raton,” which was released on June 19. He released “Tribe,” his second single with J., on August 22. Cole. On August 24, 2018, Bas released his third album, Milky Way. With 13,150 album-equivalent unit sales in the first week, the album debuted at position 35 on the Billboard 200. To promote the record, Bas scheduled a 43-city tour that started in November 2018 and ended in February 2019. Bas stated before the end of 2018 that he was collaborating with The Hics on an album. The record is scheduled to be released in late 2021 or early 2022.
