American rapper and songwriter 2Rare, real name Naseem Rafeeq Young, is from Philadelphia. Since October 2022, he has been under the management of American record executive Mel Carter. With the publication of his track “Big Bag” in 2019, he gained notoriety and secured a collaboration with the record companies 10K Projects, Internet Money Records, and Homemade Projects. He started to become successful in 2020 after his single “Big Drippa” was released. He published the song “Cupid” in January 2022, and it quickly gained 21,000,000 streams on TikTok.
He participated in a dance-off with Canadian rapper Drake in the music video for “Sticky” in June 2022. With a feature from American rapper Lil Durk, he released his song “Q-Pid” in August 2022. In October 2022, he had an appearance in the music video for American rapper NLE Choppa’s track “Do It Again.”
