He is well-known for his contributions to hip-hop and electronic music in the twenty-first century. Birchard is also part of the Canadian producer Lunice’s combo TNGHT; their influential eponymous EP was published in 2012. Birchard joined Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music production crew the same year, contributing to the label compilation Cruel Summer (2012) and West’s LP Yeezus. (2013). He later rose to prominence as a producer, working with musicians such as Kanye West, Pusha T, Drake, A$AP Rocky, Lil Wayne, Anohni, and Danny L Harle. Birchard’s 2011 song “Cbat,” which became popular on social media in 2022, became an Internet meme.
