Robbert van de Corput (born January 7, 1988), better known as Hardwell, is a Breda-based Dutch DJ and music producer. DJ Mag named him the world’s number one DJ in 2013 and again in 2014. In 2022, he was voted 43rd in DJ Mag’s top 100 DJs survey. He is most well-known for his performances at music festivals such as Ultra Music Festival, Sunburn, and Tomorrowland.
He rose to prominence in 2009 with his bootleg of “Show Me Love vs. Be.” In 2010, he started the record label Revealed Recordings, and in 2011, he launched the radio show and podcast Hardwell On Air. Through his label, he has published ten compilation CDs as well as two documentary films. United We Are, his debut studio album, was released on January 23, 2015. He announced his extended vacation from touring on September 7, 2018, explaining that he wants to focus more on his personal life. He returned to the EDM industry on March 27, 2022, by closing off Ultra Miami’s mainstage with his new album Rebels Never Die.
