The Antlers are an indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York. Peter Silberman writes and sings the band’s songs. Silberman and Michael Lerner play their song. (drums). Darby Cicci (trumpet, upright/electric bass, keyboards, synthesizers, vocals) was formerly on the lineup. Vocals, electric guitar, keyboards/synths, drums, and a variety of other instruments such as piano, horns, strings, and electronic components are characteristic of the band’s instrumentation. Silberman has stated that the band’s name is derived from the song “Antlers” by The Microphones.
Uprooted (2006), In the Attic of the Universe (2007), Hospice (2009), Burst Apart (2011), Familiars (2014), and Green to Gold (2015) are the band’s six studio albums as of 2021. (2021).
