Tash Sultana (born 15 June 1995) is an Australian singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, music producer, and audio engineer. Sultana rose to international prominence with their 2016 single “Jungle,” which was voted third in Triple J’s Hottest 100 countdown. The following year, Sultana’s “Mystik” reached number 28, “Murder to the Mind” reached number 43, and their Like a Version version of MGMT’s “Electric Feel” reached number 78 on Triple J’s Hottest 100.

Sultana grew raised in Melbourne and began playing guitar at the age of three, beginning her musical career by busking. Sultana has been a Bandcamp musician since 2013, and her songs have been seen millions of times on YouTube in 2016. Notion, Sultana’s EP, was released on September 23, 2016, and was followed by a sold-out global tour in early 2017.
