Granger Kelly Smith (born September 4, 1979), sometimes known as Earl Dibbles Jr., is a country music singer-songwriter and radio host from the United States. He has eleven studio albums, one live album, and two EPs to his credit. He had his first number-one single, “Backroad Song,” in 2016, and his second top-ten single, “If the Boot Fits,” in 2017.
Granger Smith was signed to a contract in Nashville at the age of nineteen. He has performed three times in the White House, and in 2008 he traveled to Iraq and Kuwait to perform for soldiers. Dirt Road Driveway, his 2013 album, reached number 15 on the US country charts and number 11 on the US indie charts.
Smith confirmed his signing with Broken Bow Records imprint Wheelhouse Records on August 12, 2015. Smith and Frank Rogers co-produced Smith’s EP 4×4. The album debuted at number 6 on the Top Country Albums chart and peaked at number 51 on the Billboard 200. The album’s debut track, “Backroad Song,” sold over 32,000 downloads in its first week of release.
Smith’s eleventh studio album, “Moonrise,” was released in November 2022. The record was featured in the Pure Flix film of the same name, which was released on December 15, 2022.
