The Grouch, Corey Scoffern’s stage name, is an American rapper and producer, born on May 20, 1975. He was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area but is now based in Maui, Hawaii (specifically Oakland, California). He is a founder member of Living Legends, a Los Angeles, California-based underground hip-hop group. He oversaw all aspects of the production for Felt’s 2002 first album, Felt: A Tribute to Christina Ricci.
In 2011, he worked on the song “Amp Live for President” with Eligh, Evidence, and Zion I.
