The American electronic dance music duo LMFAO, often known as Laughing My Freaking Ass Off or Laughing My Fucking Ass Off, is made up of Redfoo and Sky Blu. Berry Gordy, the man of Motown Records, and Nancy Leiviska’s youngest son is Redfoo. Sky Blu, the grandchild of Berry Gordy IV, the son of Gordy and his first wife Thelma Coleman, is also Redfoo’s half-brother.

Growing up in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles, Redfoo and Sky Blu started the band LMFAO in 2006 and eventually joined the electro-house scene. Through its performances and radio airplay, LMFAO began to gain local notoriety. In 2010, they were part of David Guetta’s song “Gettin’ Over You,” which peaked at the top of the charts across Europe and the US, including the UK Singles Chart.
