Two Dutch DJs and producers, Thom Jongkind and Idir Makhlaf, go by the moniker Blasterjaxx. Blasterjaxx was ranked number 71 out of the top 100 DJs by DJ Mag. The song “Faith” by Blasterjaxx topped the charts in Sweden and the Netherlands in 2014 and 2013, respectively. “Fifteen,” the next track, is a Hardwell collaboration. Blasterjaxx is here to stay after working with a majority of the top DJs and Producers in the world. In 2010, Thom Jongkind, who was then going by the name Scalix, made the decision to form a DJ duo with a different producer at the time.
The undertaking was known as Blasterjaxx. Although it failed, Thom kept up the Blasterjaxx label on his own. Idir Makhlaf, who was performing under the name Macosta at the time, and Jongkind occasionally collaborated. After joining Blasterjaxx, Makhlaf ultimately released the Reborn EP in 2012, which featured D-Rashid and featured the songs “Reborn” and “Where We Go.” Laidback Luke signed the songs to his own label Mixmash Records. Along with Billy The Kit, they created Loud & Proud in the beginning of 2013, and Tisto signed the song to his own record label, Musical Freedom. Adagio for Strings and “Love Comes Again,” as well as “United,” the official song of Ultra Music Festival, were remixed by Blasterjaxx. Together with these artists, Blasterjaxx has worked with many others, including David Guetta, Hardwell, Afrojack, Tisto, Nicky Romero, Quintino, and Ibranovski.
