Robert Clifton Brackins III is an American rapper, record producer, and songwriter who was born on September 14, 1988. Brackins was reared mostly in East Oakland, California, although being born in Berkeley, California. As a co-writer of Chris Brown’s hit song “Loyal” and Tinashe’s track “2 On,” Brackins is likely most known for his songwriting. In 2013, Brackins contributed a guest verse to Ray J’s contentious smash song “I Hit It First,” which went on to sell more than 100,000 copies on its own.
Brackins has a career as a recording artist in addition to composing and producing for other musicians. In 2010, he secured a solo record deal with Republic Records. In 2014, he released the song “143,” which featured Ray J and peaked at number 84 on the Billboard Hot 100 list.
