In 2004, Afroman began publishing his music freely, primarily online. That same year, he also released Jobe Bells, a parody of conventional Christmas tunes.
The lineup for the 2010 Gathering of the Juggalos included Afroman.
In an effort to promote the benefits of cannabis as part of the movement to legalize its sale in the United States, Afroman released a remix of his popular song “Because I Got High” in October 2014.
