Dean Brody is a Canadian country music performer who was born on August 12, 1975. He has won 16 CCMA Awards and 2 JUNO Awards. Brody made his breakthrough in 2009 with the song “Brothers,” after first signing with Broken Bow Records in 2008. His self-titled debut album, which Matt Rovey produced, was published in 2009 and featured this song, a US Top 40 country smash. After signing with Open Road Recordings, Brody put out his second album, Trail in Life, in 2010. His third album, Dirt, which he released in 2012, was nominated for a 2013 Juno Award for Country Album of the Year and won the 2012 CCMA Album of the Year award.
Moreover, Brody was named the CCMA Male Artist of the Year in 2012 and 2013. 2013 saw the release of Crop Circles, the fourth album by Brody. Gypsy Road, Brody’s fifth album, was released that year.
