Dante Bowe is a singer and songwriter who specializes in Christian worship. He is well-known for having been a previous member of Maverick City Music and the Bethel Music collective.
In 2017, Bowe released his debut single, “Potter and Friend,” which featured Jesse Cline. Shortly after, his debut studio album, Son of a Father, was independently released.
In June 2019, Bowe signed with Bethel Music. With the single “Champion,” which was included on the album Revival’s in the Air, he made his debut with Bethel in 2020. Three stand-alone singles, including “Don’t Speak About It” with Jesse Cline, “Be Okay” with Amanda Lindsey Cook, and “Word of God” with Steffany Gretzinger and Chandler Moore, were released after this. His second studio album, Circles, which featured the number-one single “Joyful,” was released in 2021. In the 2021 GMA Dove Awards, “Joyful” took up the GMA Dove Award for Contemporary Gospel Recorded Song of the Year. On the American Top Gospel Albums chart, Circles debuted at No. 7 there. Moreover, Bowe participated in a number of joint projects, most notably the song “Wait on You,” which he co-wrote with Elevation Worship, Maverick City Music, and Chandler Moore. At the 2022 Grammy Awards, Bowe had five nominations. He ultimately won the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album for his work on Elevation Worship and Maverick City Music’s Old Church Basement (2021).
