South Korean singer Jung Whee-in, often known as Wheein (Korean: ; born April 17, 1995), is a member of the group The L1ve. She is most known for being a vocalist and member of the South Korean girl band Mamamoo. With the release of her digital single “Simple” in April 2018, Wheein made her solo music debut. In September 2019, she put out her debut single album, Soar.
When Mamamoo released their debut single “Mr. Ambiguous” and EP Hello in June 2014, Wheein made his formal musical debut as one of the group’s vocalists. She had made her debut in the group’s first R&B song, “Don’t Be Happy,” which was released in January and included Korean artist Bumkey. Wheein made her solo debut on April 17, 2018, with the release of her first song, “Easy,” and on September 4, 2019, she released Soar, her first single album, along with the track “Goodbye,” which reached number four on the Gaon Album Chart and sold over 23,000 copies. At position 24 on the Billboard Global Digital Music Sales chart, the single “Goodbye” made its debut.
